Just more fun: JWildfire V1.04 release
Just released JWildfire V1.04.
This version is a playful release for just increasing the fun in creating random fractals :
- again improved the quality of the random flame generators (to generate more complex and visually more appealing random flames)
- new external applet (simple application) for easily playing around with random flames, see README_APPLET.txt for details
Also, some additions were made to the Dancing flames module.

- Dancing flames module:
- added the possibilty to mute the sound while plaixng the show (makes it possible to hear some other tune in the background while you are concentrating on some motion details)
- possiblity to rename motions
- concept of flame-preprocessors (no GUI yet)
- display of elapsed time
- new “SINE” type of motion
- possibility to update a flame (with an changed version from the editor)
- possibility to rename flames
Just click the “Random flames” button or launch the new j-wildfire-applet.jar to start playing around and have fun 🙂

Simplified startup for Mac users: JWildfire V1.03 release
Just released JWildfire V1.03.
This version is a maintenance release with the primary goal to simplify the startup-procedure on Macs.
Mac users should now be able to use the launcher like on any other platform.Complete list of changes:
- support for the “internet plugin”-type of java runtime on the Mac
- new start-scripts for the three major plattforms
- updated/enhanced README files
- experimental “primitives_wf”-variation (which may play a larger role in the future)
Just click the “Random flames” button to start playing around and have fun 🙂
